
The Moscow City Court rejected to suspend Sergei Sobyanin from assuming the post of Moscow mayor after Alexei Navalny’s lawsuit over a cancellation of the election returns war tried, the press service of the court told Itar-Tass on Thursday. On Thursday, Navalny filed a lawsuit in the Moscow City Court, seeking for cancellation of the election results. He also filed 951 lawsuits over a cancellation of election results to the district election committees. Navalny asked in his lawsuit to take injunctive relief, suspending Sobyanin from assuming the post of Moscow mayor.
