Moscow has renewed its support for Iran's participation in a conference to be held in Geneva to resolve the Syrian crisis. The Russian deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Jatilov said Moscow convinced that Iran's participation is important to implement agreements may be signed, RT TV channel reported. The agreed list of participants in Geneva 2 includes about 30 countries except Iran, because the US delegation at Geneva meeting said Iran's participation in an international conference on the Syrian issue is unacceptable for Washington. More contacts are required at the ministerial level to solve this problem, he added. In the recent period some representatives of the Syrian opposition began to hint they wanted to postpone the conference. The opposition is not ready to provide a list of its delegation members by the specified date on December 27, he pointed. The Syrian government achieved more than they pledged to do, they has presented Friday a list of its delegation will be headed by Foreign Minister Walid Muallem.
