Mubarak\'s trial postponed to Dec. 28

The Cairo Criminal Court decided Sunday to postpone the trial of ex-president Hosni Mubarak to Dec. 28 until a decision is made on whether to change the presiding judge, official news agency MENA reported. Some lawyers demanded to change Ahmed Refaat, the top judge in the case of Mubarak, his two sons, former interior minister Habib Adly and some other defendants. Mubarak and his two sons have appeared in court for several times since their trial began on Aug. 3, on charges of corruption and ordering the killing of protestors, which they denied. Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Hussein Tantawi, former vice president Omar Suleiman and chief of staff Sami Annan have testified in the case.
