
Makkah-based Muslim World League delegation, led by the organization's Secretary General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, arrived in Jakarta today to supervise the 3rd international conference on Islamic Information, organized by MWL in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. The delegation was received by the Saudi ambassador to Indonesia Mustafa bin Ibrahim al-Mubarak, Islamic Internatioanl Commission Secretary General for Information Affairs Dr. Hasan bin Ali Al-Ahdal and senior officials. In a press statement, Al-Turki stressed the importance of cooperation between MWL and Indonesian religious authorities to make this conference a success. The conference aims at formulating new address for the Islamic media in the service of Muslims in its correct profile and protect the Quran and prophet Mohammed (pbuh) as per the calls of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the extraordinary Islamic summit last year, Al-Turki said.
