The U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Myanmar Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin on Saturday held talks here on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit on means of improving cooperation between Myanmar and the international organization. Ban had accepted an invitation from Myanmar President Thein Sein to visit Myanmar \"as soon as possible. \" Such a visit could happen within a few months, Ban\'\'s special advisor for Myanmar, Vijay Nambiar, told reporters here. Myanmar has embarked on a series of reforms since the army nominally handed power in March to civilians after the first elections in two decades.
