Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is scheduled to address various issues, including the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, during a Feb. 7 speech marking Prophet Mohammad’s birthday. Hezbollah’s office said Nasrallah’s speech would take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday during a Hezbollah-sponsored rally at Mujamaa Sayyed al-Shuhada complex in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Special Tribunal for Lebanon defense head Francois Roux Thursday assigned eight attorneys to represent the four Hezbollah members indicted in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. In a statement, Roux said he was confident that he assigned “experienced and competent counsel. They are fully independent and can choose any strategy they see best fit to defend the rights of the accused.” Beirut - The Daily star
