A helicopter belonging to the US-led NATO forces has made an emergency landing in eastern Afghanistan, Press TV reports. The US-led forces announced that they have launched an investigation into the Tuesday incident without mentioning any specific details. Earlier on Monday, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that the militant group shot down an American helicopter in the Andar district in the eastern province of Ghazni on Sunday, killing at least 14 US soldiers. Several choppers belonging to the US-led military forces have been downed in recent months in the war-torn country. The foreign troops are frequently targeted by the Taliban militants in Afghanistan.
