A NATO helicopter made a forced landing in western Afghanistan on Friday, the military alliance confirmed Saturday. \"An International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) helicopter made a forced landing in western Afghanistan yesterday,\" the NATO- led ISAF said in a statement. All crew members have been recovered with no reported fatalities and the site of the incident is secure,\" the statement added. \"What caused the aircraft to make the forced landing is under investigation, however initial reporting indicates there was no enemy activity in the area at the time of the crash,\" the statement said. Two U.S. soldiers with the ISAF were injured when a military helicopter crashed in western Afghanistan on July 18.
