
Nepal Interim Election Government Chairman Khilraj Regmi has urged the chiefs of four security agencies to work efficiently to conduct the election in a free and fair way, the government said in a statement Monday. "The government head directed to work around the clock for creating an environment where voters can vote without any fear," the statement said. In a meeting attended by chief of Nepal Army (NA), Nepali Police (NP), Armed Police Forced and National Investigation Police (NDI), Regmi that Nepal's security agencies are facing threats from poll-opposing CPN-Maoist party which is disturbing the election across the country. He called for the security agencies to take stern action against those parties who are boycotting and obstructing the election. Nepal will hold the second Constituent Assembly (CA) election Tuesday amid the strike by poll-opposing parties. The CA elected in 2008 was dissolved last year without delivering a new constitution.
