Net cast for suspects targeting Hezbollah

A Lebanese court unsealed its seventh arrest warrant Monday for a suspect tied to a July attack that left one member of the Shiite movement Hezbollah dead. Four Syrians and two Lebanese were tied by a Lebanese court to a July explosion in the Beqaa Valley. The attack on the Hezbollah convoy left one member of the organization dead and three others injured. A judicial source told The (Beirut) Daily Star on condition of anonymity a seventh arrest warrant was issued for a member of an unnamed terarorist organization suspected of preparing the explosives. The nationality of the seventh suspect wasn\'t disclosed. An escalation of violence in Lebanon was characterized as a response to Hezbollah\'s decision to fight alongside pro-government forces in Syria\'s civil war. Lebanon broke free of Syrian influence with its Cedar Revolution in 2005. The Shiite movement, which holds political office in Lebanon, handed its security checkpoints in the country over to national security forces last week. Hezbollah ramped up its security operations in its southern Beirut stronghold after a string of recent attacks. Hezbollah\'s military wing was listed as a terrorist organization by the European Union this year.
