Netanyahu accuses Palestinians of derailing peace talks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday he was worried over future of negotiations with the Palestinians who were "creating problems" to undermine talks. The Palestinian leadership is "continuing its provocation against Israel," claimed Netanyahu following his talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry in occupied Jerusalem. The Palestinians are "avoiding historic decisions that we need in order to build a true peace in the region," he told reporters. The Israelis and Palestinians agreed with the US three months ago on specific conditions which paved way for resumption of negotiations, he said. "We are committed to these conditions as well as understandings and agreements that allowed us to launch negotiations," said Netanyahu. He said the Israeli government's contribution of settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem was approved by the Palestinian Authority, which categorically denied Netanyahu's claims. Israeli officials said in different statements last week the "Palestinian and American sides are aware that the construction of settlements will continue during the negotiations
