Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he is willing to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Paris "for direct talks without preconditions" on the condition that France cancels International Peace conference, to be held in two weeks.
According to (IBA), Israel International Radio, Netanyahu explained this during a telephone conversation with French president, Francois Hollande.
Moreover, the Israeli government claimed that the French-led conference will not contribute to advancing the peace talks on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
