Netanyahu promises response to triple attack

Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu described the triple attack in resort of Eilat on Thursday that left at least 6 Israelis dead and 33 wounded as " a serious" incident in which the "country's sovereignty was harmed." Israel warns citizens not to travel to Sinai in Egypt, according to a Foreign Ministry''s statement. Israel''s military said it launched an airstrike against militants in Gaza on Thursday, hours after the attack. Ismail Radwan, a senior Hamas leader, condemned the "massacre in Rafah" and told Ma''an that "this crime won’t stop the resistance and won’t stop all Palestinians." He added that Hamas was taking every relevant action following Israel''s threats. Earlier, the interior ministry in Gaza said Egyptian authorities have closed the Rafah crossing amid the sharp increase in violence in Gaza and southern Israel.
