Pakistan\'s Nawaz Sharif demanded an end to US drone strikes, in his first speech to parliament Wednesday shortly after being elected prime minister for the third time. Sharif said: \"The chapter of these daily drone attacks now must come to an end,\" to loud applause from parliamentarians. \"When we respect the sovereignty of others, it is obligatory for them to respect our sovereignty also,\" he added. According to dpa, Sharif is to be formally sworn in by President Asif Ali Zardari later Wednesday at a ceremony at the presidential palace. His cabinet is also expected to be announced then.
