New York police bust prostitution ring

An undercover police sting operation broke up a New York City prostitution ring, leading to three arrests, court documents show. Police said William Thomas, 42, was charged with promoting prostitution, Jung Lee, was charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution and Rei Spain was charged with promoting prostitution. Investigators said Thomas was arrested Oct. 11 after he arranged for an undercover police officer to visit his choice of four brothels in Manhattan, each specializing in Asian women and advertised on two websites, the New York Post reported Monday. The officer communicated with Thomas by email and text messages, met him and became a member of the websites\' \"E4A Korea private men\'s club,\" prosecutors said.
