Nsour: We still haven\'t sealed our doors to Syrians

Abdullah Nsour, Prime Minister of Jordan, has said, \"Turkey\'s influence in the Middle East is pleasing. Powers establishing stability and balance in the region are necessary.\" Nsour told Anadolu Agency that Turkey\'s influence in the Middle East was pleasing and added, \"There is a need for powers that can establish stability and save the people from the suffering at a time the region is undergoing the hardest time ever.\" Syrian refugees in Jordan Nsour stated that his country was already undergoing an economic crisis and was influenced by the Syrian crisis. \"The country is going through a terrible situation, literally a disaster with the increasing number of shelter-seekers. Yet, we still haven\'t sealed our doors to the Syrians,\" Nsour noted. Stating that they have applied to the UN Security Council on the matter but was unable to find a solution, Nsour said, \"nearly 540,000 Syrians need food, shelter and medicine. International relief organizations do nothing other than symbolic assistance. We are facing a humanity tragedy.\" Nsour also touched on the unkept promises made by well-known public figures and said, \"The United Nations Security Council has especially failed in the Syrian crisis.\"
