Obama: Use of chemical weapons is a game changer

President of the United States of America Barrack Obama said that \"the use of chemical weapons is a game changer,\" expressing his intent to investigate the claims of chemical weapons used by the opposition in Syria. Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held a joint press conference in Jerusalem after their meeting. Obama said he is deeply skeptical of the claims and the US is to investigate the claims of Assad regime that the opposition deployedchemical weapons in the conflict. Obama proposed it was more likely that the Syrian government used the allegedchemical weapons in recent attacks. “We know the Syrian government has the capacity to carry out chemical weapon attacks,” Obama said. \"Once we establish the facts, the use of chemical weapons is a game changer,\" he also stated. Concerning Iran\'s nuclear program, both leaders blamed Iran for secretly building a nuclear weapon, and Netanyahu voiced his belief that Obama is \"determined to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.\" Obama urged Israel for continued diplomatic efforts, through negotiations and sanctions, to get Tehran to obey international safeguards against nuclear arms. \"We prefer to resolve this diplomatically, and there\'s still time to do so. Iran\'s leaders must understand, however, that they have to meet their international obligations,\" addedObama. Touching upon the Israel-Palestinian issue, Obama also praised the Palestinian government\'s effective cooperative efforts with the international community. \"There\'s some -- some elements of good news. I mean, the fact of the matter is, is that even with all that\'s been happening in the region, the Palestinian authority has worked effectively, in cooperation with the international community, in part because of some of the training that we, the United States, provided, to do its part in maintaining security in the West Bank. We have seen some progress when it comes to economic development and opportunity for the Palestinian people\" said Obama.
