OIC head condemns Israel

Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu condemned Israel restraining a delegation of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) from visiting Jerusalem. In a statement released on Tuesday, Ihsanoglu said, \"Israel\'s decision shows how Israel underestimates the opinion of the international community and persists on ruining the historic texture of historical sites.\" Israel had prohibited UNESCO delegation to visit historical and religious places in Jerusalem on Monday.
