The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has expressed his deep sympathy over the tragic plane crash which killed 153 persons on 3rd June 2012 in Lagos, Nigeria. Prof Ihsanoglu conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Nigeria for the huge loss and prayed to God to give them the fortitude to overcome the tragedy. The Secretary General, then, assured all Nigerians of the solidarity of the OIC in this period of the national grief.
