On Wednesday the Russian investigative committee (SK) has brought a criminal charge in a finalized version against opposition activist Leonid Razvozzhayev who was an assistant to Duma deputy Ilya Ponomaryov. “The SK has just brought a finalized criminal charge against Razvozzhayev accused of three crimes,” his lawyer Ruslan Chanidze said in his blog in the Twitter. The other lawyer for Razvozzhayev, Dmitry Agranovsky, told Itar-Tass that the defendant was still at the investigative committee where the criminal charge against him was announced. Leonid Razvozzhayev was arrested on October 22, 2012 in the framework of a criminal case opened into the organization of acts of mass unrest in different regions of Russia. The criminal case was opened after an inquiry into facts disclosed in The Anatomy of Protest-2 film ran on television, which featured the opposition activists talking to Georgian politician Givi Targamadaze. Razvozzhayev has been kept in custody since his arrest last October.
