Stakes and challenges facing Algeria "require deepening dialogue among the political parties represented at the Assembly," Speaker of National People’s Assembly (APN) Larbi Ould Khelifa stressed Monday in Algiers. In his speech at the opening of APN fall session, Ould Khelifa urged all the instances representing the civil society to "get involved in this dialogue." He noted that "the difference of analyses set of the situation reflects the good health and is a sign of freedom of speech in the country," calling to "adopt constructive critic and not recourse to alarmism and attempts to spread despair within the citizens." Moreover, Ould Khelifa ensured his solidarity, in the name of APN members and all the Algerians with families of the Algerian diplomats kidnapped last April in the north of Mali wishing to see the hostages back to their families safe and sound.
