
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday directed to expedite the formulation and promulgation of Anti-terror Laws, said an official press release. The premier reviewed the anti-terror laws and legislation in Pakistan at the premier's House in a meeting with Interior Minister, Ch. Nisar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and other senior officials. The Prime Minister said, "There is no space for enemy aliens to attack innocent civilians and armed forces and they must be prosecuted with effectiveness." The Pakistani premier further said, "We will adopt coordinate strategy to root out the menace of terrorism." He added that the civil administration and military were on the same page to tackle terrorists in Karachi, Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Provincially Administered Tribal Areas, said the press release. Terrorism and extremism has been a major issue of Pakistan effecting the country's economy and trade adversely.
