Pakistan to raise drone attack issue with US

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said that her country would raise the issue of US drone air strike on the Pakistani territory with the United States. Pakistani official radio reported Tuesday that Rabbani said her country considers the raids on Pakistan's tribal areas as a violation of its sovereignty, noting that Pakistan has expressed concern several times about these raids which are counter-productive in the war against terrorism. In response to press reports that the US has prepared a new policy on these raids, the Pakistani minister pointed out that there are no information in this regard, saying that these are only media reports but Pakistan will raise the issue with Washington and its ambassador to Pakistan.
