Pakistani legal expert rejects US allegations on Iran

Veteran lawyer and former Pakistani politician on Wednesday rejected the recent US allegations against Iran and said that they have to substantiate their claims.Talking to IRNA Ahmed Raza Khan Kasuri warned that US is following a game aimed at dividing Muslim Ummah. Main suspect in the case Arbab-Siar, has rejected baseless allegation of intention to assassinate Saudi envoy at a US Federal court. Arbab-Siar, 56, who was arrested on September 29 in New York, has been accused of a number of criminal acts, including a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Washington, using weapons of mass destruction, and conspiracy aimed at committing terrorist acts. Iran, since Arbab-Siar\'s arrest and during his court hearing sessions, has been asking the US Federal officials to provide some evidence regarding the case, but they have always refrained from presenting any related information to the Islamic Republic. “You can level allegations very easily but law demands evidence, it is very difficult to establish conspiracy”, said Kasuri. He strongly believed that Americans were jealous about Iran\'s progress in the field of nuclear energy. Kasuri added that the US is trying to exert pressures on Iran by leveling baseless allegations and sanctions. “Human rights violations are on the rise in the US”, he regretted. Kasuri urged Muslims to remain vigilant against western plots and be united to tackle anti-Islam conspiracies.
