
President Mamnoon Hussain of Islamic Republic of Pakistan received at the presidential palace in Islamabad today Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The official statement issued by the Pakistani presidential palace said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Pakistan and reviewed a number of issues of common interest.The Pakistani President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Kingdom's continuing support for Pakistan and its people at all times, particularly difficult times, stressing that the people of Pakistan has all love, respect and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, conveying his greetings to the King, and wishing the Kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.He said that Pakistan and the Kingdom are linked with brotherly relations stemming from common religious values and cultural denominators deeply rooted in history, stressing that the two countries have had identical views towards regional and international issues.The President added that Pakistan is keen on strengthening the strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom in various fields; pointing to broad areas for the development of trade relations between the two countries; noting that Pakistan has a tremendous investment opportunities in the fields of infrastructure, energy, construction of dams, agriculture, livestock; and welcoming Saudi investors in his country. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
