Pakistanis rally against anti-Islam film

Thousands of people assembled in Karachi, Pakistan, Saturday to protest an anti-Islamic film that has provoked demonstrations in many Islamic countries. A senior police officer said \"at least 15,000\" participated in the protest, which resulted in no arrests or injures, Geo News reported. Protesters wearing green and white headbands and waving green flags chanted slogans including \"Hang the American film maker\" and \"We are ready to sacrifice our lives for the honor of Prophet Muhammad.\" Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, a prominent religious leader, told the rally the film was \"a criminal act,\" and called for a global ban on insulting \"all prophets and messengers.\" Countrywide demonstrations last week that drew more than 45,000 people. At least 21 people were killed and 229 injured.
