The Palestinian government has welcomed the UN Human Rights Council's adoption of four decisions in favor of Palestine.
In a press statement issued today, Palestinian government spokesperson Youssef Al Mahmoud said it considers the move an important step, particularly in relation to settlement and other Israeli occupation crimes.
He added that while the Human Rights Council was considering these resolutions, the world saw the horrendous crime of occupation troops who executed a Palestinian wounded man by shooting him in the head in the presence of Israeli ambulance crews.
Al Mahmoud said the crime is part of the bloody daily life that Palestinians suffer, which, he added, requires an immediate international move in order to provide protection for the Palestinian people.
