Palestinian man shot dead in Al-Eizariya

A Palestinian man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in al-Eizariya in East Jerusalem Monday morning, police said. A statement from the Palestinian police says unidentified gunmen opened fire at 35-year-old Sharif Abu Ghaliya injuring him critically. Abu Ghaliya was taken to al-Maqasid Hospital in Jerusalem for treatment, but he was pronounced dead hours later, police said.
