Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad warned on Sunday against the repercussions of the current financial crisis facing the Palestinian Authority. Addressing a news conference in Cairo, Fayyad said the PA might collapse if the fiasco continued. Yet, the premier\'s fears were assuaged by Arab League chief Nabil Arabi who told the same press conference that rich Arab countries are ready to provide a financial safety net to rescue the PA. Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, whose country currently chairs the Arab League council, said a resolution adopted by the last Arab Summit in Baghdad to form a 100-million-dollar safety net should be put in effect.
