Palestinian president meets with US peace envoy

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed today his letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with U.S. peace envoy David Hale in Ramallah, according to presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh. He said the Palestinian leadership is expecting the Israeli response to Abbas’ letter within two weeks, adding that a positive response will prompt movement in the peace process in the right direction.
