
Speaker of the Parliament on Sunday valued the role the Iranian ambassador to Yemen Mahmoud Alizadeh has played to improve the Yemeni-Iranian ties. During a farewell meeting, Yahya al-Raei gifted Alizadeh, whose diplomatic tenure as an ambassador to Yemen expired, the armor of Parliament as a memorial, asking the ambassador to convey his greetings to the Iran\'s new political leadership. The Parliament Speaker underlined the importance of strengthening the relationship between Yemen and Iran, stressing that necessary of Iran to intensify its efforts to enhance its brotherly relations with neighboring countries and all Islamic and Arab countries. The Iranian ambassador reiterated his country\'s attitude in support of the Yemeni unification and the national dialogue conference to realize the best goals. Alizadeh expressed appreciation of the role the parliament has played to facilitate his mission in Yemen, underscoring the need advance the bilateral relations with Yemen. He handed over to al-Raei a list contains the names of the Iranian members in the Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee. Several issues of common concerns were also touched on in the meeting pertaining to the Islamic, Arab and international developments.
