Pope Francis to announce canonization date for 2 popes September 30

Pope Francis plans to announce the date for the canonizations of his predecessors John XXIII and John Paul II on Sept. 30, a Vatican official said Tuesday. Both popes are expected to become official saints on the same day, the Italian news agency ANSA reported. \"This Sept. 30, the pope will hold the consistory of the saints.
