
President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has received Monday in Algiers Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, with whom he continued the consultations started last Thursday. The Head of State discussed with Sellal the new season and the school year, as well as other activities of the Government. In this regard, President Bouteflika gave directives to the Prime Minister to ensure the success of these activities. President Bouteflika began these audiences by receiving the Prime Minister last Thursday. On Sunday, the Head of State received Sellal and the Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci, who presented to him a report on the activities of the Algerian diplomacy, particularly on topical international issues. President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has received Monday in Algiers the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), Lieutenant-general Ahmed Gaid Salah. During the audience, the Army Chief of Staff presented to the Head of State an exhaustive report on the security situation in Algeria and the activities of the armed forces, particularly at the southern and eastern borders. President Bouteflika received the Army Chief of Staff last Tuesday and gave him guidelines for strengthening security at the borders of the country.
