President Al-Bashir acquainted with security situation in North Darfur

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, was acquainted with overall security situation in North Darfur State and its efforts to put and end to the tribal disputes in the state. This came when President Al-Bashir received in his office at the Council of Ministers the Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, Osman Mohamed Yousif Kibir, who said in a statement to SUNA that he briefed the President of the Republic on the efforts done by the state government to address the tribal incidents at Kutum, Milleit and Jabal Amer areas as well as North Darfur State\'s vision to find lasting solutions for the tribal disputes. Kibir said that he also informed the President of he Republic on progress of the financial performance in North Darfur State, axplianing that local revenues in the states constituted over 40% of the state\'s general budget.
