An official source at the Presidency has denied what was published in Al-Sharie newspaper in its Sunday issue under a story in its front page entitled “ Yemen is rear supply base for the U.S. army”. The source said to Saba that the newspaper had accustomed to publish such false and baseless fabrications aiming to shuffling papers and diverting attention away from the objective facts. The source denounced what was mentioned by the Al-Sharie newspaper under that headline from misleading information attributed to a military source and another political about the recent visit of commander of the U.S. Central Military Command to Sana’a, including its allegations that the Americans asked for the use of any area within Yemen as a rear supply base for the U.S. army. ” Promoting such lies, strange fabrications and imaginative scenarios reveals the real objectives of those who stand behind it”, the sourced added, noting that the newspaper has two choices in this case; the first is to prove the truth of what fully published and if it did not the second option would be before judiciary.
