Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh on Wednesday received Minister of Culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa. The prime minister stressed the depth of ties between the two countries and the need to strengthen them in various fields, wishing peace and stability of the people of Bahrain. He noted the reform approach, adopted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also stressed the importance of strengthening cultural cooperation between the two kingdoms and showing the true image of Islam and its respect for women rights. The premier highlighted the Amman Message and the steps made by Jordan to empower women and activate their role in public life. The Bahraini minister hailed the role of Jordan and its support for Bahrain during the recent unrest, stressing her country’s keenness to increase cultural cooperation with Jordan.
