
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee, today described governmental preparedness for pilgrimage this year as distinguished and excellent. He said the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has done a lot to serve the guests of God Almighty and provide them with whatever eases their pilgrimage. In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, he said he made several inspection tours of the sacred places and noted that this year a great deal of services have been introduced. He confirmed that the government is keen first to achieve safety of pilgrims, be it security wise, health, social, services or so. He said nearly 1.4 million pilgrims have already arrived from outside the Kingdom.
