Hundreds of citizens gathered, on Wednesday in Bardo, in front of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) premises, seat of the former Chamber of Deputies, to demand transparency of the democratic process within the NCA and the adoption of clear decisions on a set of national issues. Held at the initiative of representatives of the political parties and components of civil society, this protest action denounced the threats endangering the democratic process and "the attempts to establish a new form of dictatorship through the draft laws pertaining to the internal rules of the NCA and the provisional organisation of the public authorities."
