
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Russian President Vladimir Putin are likely to hold talks in Russia's Sochi city in May, a Japanese diplomatic source revealed on Tuesday.
An anticipated meeting between the Russian and Japanese foreign ministers on Friday is expected to officially agree upon next month's talks, Japanese news agency Kyodo quoted the senior source as saying.
The meeting will tackle the current situation in Ukraine.
