Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the Palestinian territories next week, Russian representative to the Palestinian Authority Ambassador Alexander Rudakov stated Wednesday. During the visit, Putin is scheduled to held talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the latest developments, Rudakov said. He will also open a Russian cultural center in Bethlehem, he added. Rudakov highlighted the Russian-Palestinian strong bilateral relations and stressed Russia\'s keenness to develop these relations in all domains. He also underlined the Russia will continue its efforts to find a just solution to the Palestinian issue and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the territory of 67 with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Russian President is also due to visit Jordan and Israel as part of his tour of the region next week.
