Qandil, ministerial group discuss promoting social protection programs

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held Monday a meeting with a ministerial group tasked with encouraging social justice to discuss promoting social protection programs for the poor and marginalized classes. Qandil assigned the group with putting forward policies of the program, which aims at improving the standard of living of the poor and marginalized classes. The meeting tackled means of expanding health insurance programs along with drawing up procedures and legislations to ensure transparency and enhancing the foundations of community participation. Present at the meeting were ministers of international cooperation, insurance and social affairs, health, finance, supply, and a number of cabinet officials.
