Qatari ambassador meets Japanese official

HE Qatari Ambassador to Japan Yousef Mohammad Bilal met here on Tuesday with Member of Japan\'\'s House of Representative and Chairman of the Permanent Committee of Economy, Trade and Industry at the House of Representative Osamu Yoshida. During the meeting, the Japanese official expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir, Government and people of Qatar for their role during the earthquake disaster that hit northeastern Japan. He also praised the role of Qatar to meet the needs of Japan of energy resources during the crisis, which erupted as a result of the disaster of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The Japanese official noted to the generous donations from HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to the victims of the disaster, which left a good impression on the Japanese people. He also stressed the determination of the House of Representatives\'\' members to build closer ties and promote bilateral cooperation to serve the peoples of the two countries.
