HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud , has said that in response to directives of HE the prime minister and foreign minister sheikh hamad bin jassim bin jabor al thani , the e-sitting system plan of the cabinet has been finalized .This would in turn provide the best use of the advanced technological means when reviewing and handling the cabinet sitting related files and appendixes , said HE Al Mahmoud .HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs further noted that the plan aims at modernizing the updating the modus operandi at the cabinet general secretariat and which was launched earlier in July , 2012 when the e-ministerial portfolio system was launched , thus enabling their excellencies the ministers to minutely follow up the files and documents of the cabinet and the key data whether their excellencies were inside or outside the country.Elaborating HE Al Mahmoud went on to say that the execution of the electronic system and the electronic portfolio system came as part of the overall plan set for the development and modernization the cabinet’s general secretariat has been witnessing with a view to facilitating and developing the action and elevate it to make it keeping in line with modern management methods and keeping up with the latest developments in the field of information technology
