H. H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has ordered the release of 84 prisoners from the punitive and reformative institutions in the emirate, on the occasion of advent of Eid Al Adha. Sheikh Saud will incur the financial charges and fines against those covered by the amnesty. The inmates who have been convicted and facing deportation orders by the courts will be repatriated to the their home countries. The move comes in line with the RAK Ruler\'s keenness to give them chance to begin a new life and ease suffering of their families. Counselor Hassan Saeed Al Habsi, Attorney General of RAK Emirate, said that the Public Prosecution, upon the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah and Chairman of RAK Judicial Council, has already started the procedures to enforce the Ruler\'s order. Al Habsi expressed profound gratitude to RAK Ruler for this great humanitarian gesture, which has brought happiness to many families. He also appreciated the RAK CP, Chairman of the Judicial Council for his continuous follow up of the Public Prosecution and the judiciary in the emirate.
