A prominent Lebanese political activist underlined the key role of the regional resistance front, comprising the Lebanese Hezbollah, Iran and Syria, in determining and changing power equations in the region. The resistance front (in region) has been able to change regional equations thorough the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria\'s help and force the occupying forces to leave Iraq by the next two months, Secretary-General of the Arab Tawhid Party in Lebanon Wiam Wahhab said in a meeting with Tehran\'s Ambassador to Beirut Qazanfar Roknabadi. He thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah movement for their support for resistance in the region and reiterated his party\'s loyalty and resolve to support the resistance front. Roknabadi, for his part, pointed to the deep ties between the two countries, and noted, \"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood beside the resistant (movement) and brave nation of Lebanon and is proud to support the resistance front.\" Political observers say that victory of the Lebanese resistance over the Zionist regime of Israel in the 33-day war in Summer 2006 has altered power equations in the region. They emphasize that the Lebanese victory altered the region\'s equations, and turned Lebanon and Hezbollah resistance movement into a superior power.
