Religious leader: US pursuing path of destruction

Pakistan Religious leader on Friday said the United States is pursuing the path of destruction through hostile policies towards Muslim countries. Speaking to IRNA, Secretary General Majlis Wehdat Muslemeen(MWM), Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffery, lauded the statement of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, that Americans are trying hard to gain control over the region’s developments, but the nations have got awakened and the oppressors’ policies would bear no fruit. “US is going towards destruction because of its policies”, viewed the religious leader. He was of the opinion that the US wants to suppress the uprising movements in Muslim countries which is a useless exercise.He added that Iran has been supporting these movements, which is not acceptable to US. “US is afraid of Iran”, he said.Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffery strongly condemned recent US accusations against Iran, terming them a drama. He stated that the US had imposed an eight-year war on Iran but failed to subvert Islamic Revolution. The religious leader opined that the US is planning to divide Muslim Ummah because the unity of Muslims is not in its interest. The MWM leader said that the US is trying to sow seeds of discord between Iran and Saudi Arabia. “Why Iran would try to kill Saudi Ambassador as both countries are enjoying strong relations?”, he asked. He said that American policies against Iran have been miserably failed. He said that the speech of Supreme Leader represented aspirations of Muslim Ummah. ‘It was a brave speech’, he noted. Religious leader said the US, because of its aggressive polices, has plunged the whole world in despair.He strongly believed that the whole world is tired of American polices. He added that on the one hand, the US is worried about human rights violation in the world, but on the other, they are supporting Israel, that has been slaughtering innocent people of Palestine without any justification.He said that the US policies are failed in Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq and Afghanistan. Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffery was of the view that time has come that the whole world should come towards Islam for salvation. “Islam takes people towards the path of Almighty Allah whereas the United Sates is taking humanity towards the path of devil”, he said. The MWM leader, expressing his views, said everybody knows that Iran is following a right path and the US will fail to destabilize the country through its hostile policies.
