Members of the US Republican party have renewed their criticism of President Barack Obama\'s administration following what they considered to be a suspected leak of national security information. A prominent Republican Senator called on the Justice Department to appoint a Special Prosecutor to look into the case. Republicans have also slammed the Obama administration for revealing details on a special forces unit operated by the US Navy which killed al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in an attack on his hideout in Pakistan last year. \"Our intelligence people say this is the worst breach they\'ve ever seen,\" Senior Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee Senator John McCain said in an interview broadcast by Radio SAWA Monday morning. \"This needs a special counsel, someone who is highly independent of the Justice Department,\" he added. With the approaching US presidential elections on November 6, some Republicans have linked the incident to attempts bolstering a re-election of the democratic candidate Obama.
