U.S. delegate to the United Nations Susan Rice expressed her country''s deep concern over the escalating tension between Sudan and the State of Southern Sudan in recent days. In a speech before a UN Security Council session held to discuss the to discuss the situation in Sudan aired over Radio Sawa, Rice said we condemn in the strongest possible meanings the aerial bombardment by the North of targets in southern Sudan, especially the shelling of the Aida refugee camp, which includes more than twenty thousand people.
