Eric Fehrnstrom, a top campaign adviser to Mitt Romney, said Friday a commercial tying the presumptive Republican nominee to a woman\'s cancer death is a lie. The ad paid for by Priorities USA, a super PAC supporting President Obama, features a man who says he lost his health insurance after Romney\'s company, Bain Capital, sent his employer into bankruptcy. Fehrnstrom said the ad is full of \"ugly distortions and lies,\" The Washington Post reported. \"I don\'t think a world champion limbo dancer could get any lower than the Obama campaign right now,\" Fehrnstrom told reporters in Boston. \"In the process, Obama has squandered what has always been one of his key attributes -- that he was a different kind of politician who was going to take us to a better place.\" Fehrnstrom said the Obama campaign is also being deceptive in its attempts to distance itself from the commercial. While the campaign says it does not control the actions of Priorities USA, Joe Soptic, the laid-off steel worker in the commercial, has campaigned for the president before.
