Moscow is concerned about the latest events in Egypt and recommends Russians to stay away from the protests regions, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Friday. “Moscow is concerned about the events happening in friendly Egypt,” the ministry said. “In the present situation we see the major objective in not allowing further extension of violence spiral, in undertaking all necessary measures for restoration of calmness and stability in the country by acting within the limits of legality.” “We call for the authorities, all political parties and influential public leaders to be ready to solve emerging problems by engaging into dialogues and coming to agreements as well as to concentrate on continuing with the new political process and the social and economic improvements in the interests of all Egyptians,” the ministry said. Russia’s Foreign Ministry confirmed its recommendations for Russians visiting Egypt “to stay away from the regions of rallies and any other mass actions, and to those who arrived in that country as tourists to refrain from trips outside of the resort areas.”
